Well i have finally arrived here in the UK! i must say the parsel my family sent me in was very cosy but i was glad to get out of it and into the fresh air. when i finally escaped there were 4 perculiar looking faces staring at me and looking in my logbook and smiling at my stamp. i then realised that this must be my host family! they introduced them selves (Yorkshire Ladybird, Mum, JorvikLB and LNER Express, younger letterboxers and Dad, a non-letterboxer as he doesn't really see the point. tut tut.)

Soon after arriving, JorvikLB suggested to me that we try and find the letterbox out in the garden if i felt up to it. of course i jumped to the chance of finding my first english letterbox! we followed the first part of the clue and went to visit henry the hedgehog. he was a very happy little chap, and made me promise to come back and visit him soon!

we then made our way to the chimney mentioned in the clue. there was a lovely lavender plant growing out of the top, and
JorvikLB took a lovely picture of me smeilling the lovely sweet scent it gave off!
she gave me a hand to tip it up and i peered inside! it
was a bit dark under there, but the letterbox was stood happily in the middle!
we took the box into the conservatory as there was a good
table in there, and got out all we needed to do the stamping in! looking through the logbook i noticed a stamp that said underneath he was called Wallace and was a boxing buddy. i was a little confused as JorvikLb had told me earlier that i was the first Boxing Buddy they were to host. i then found out it was Wallace, JorvikLb's PERSONAL Boxing Buddy. he stayed and boxed with her and didn't go and explore different areas!
the next day i had the urge to go letterboxing, but JorvikLB was going to escrick park to do some cross country riding. so i stuck with LNER Express and let him show me his trainset.
the day after that it was pourig with rain. i would have loved to go out in it, but JorvikLB and her family were not too keen so to make up for it JorvikLB gave me a hint by showing me a page on Atlas Quest. it was her Personal Traveler, so i asked her if i could see it. here i am stamping into it and writing my little message.
